Salted Maple Cider
Sharing the crisp, sweet moments of the season.
Ingredients (makes 6 cups):
6 cups Apple Cider
¼ cup Embark Salted Maple
6 cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 inch ginger, diced
¾ cup bourbon (optional)
Instructions:
Combine the apple cider and maple syrup into a saucepan and heat.
Add cloves, cinnamon, vinegar and ginger.
Simmer for 20 minutes, then strain out the spices.
Serve hot, garnish with a cinnamon stick and apple slice.
Booze it up, if you’re so inclined:
After straining spices, add a shot of Bourbon for those who would like to partake.
