Developed over years of endurance adventuring, Embark Maple Energy needed the carbs, calories & nutrition needed to keep us going on our exploits. Instead of a pocket full of sticky tear-off gels, we crafted a 80g Carb, 320 calorie resealable pack that can be used straight as a gel or mixed in water to keep us hydrated. First and foremost, it has to work.

Nutrition that leaves your stomach in knots or dreading another bite doesn’t work. Embark is crafted from simple, easily digestible ingredients: Maple Syrup and Sea Salt. Maple Syrup is not only delicious, it is packed with nutrients that aid muscle function and digestion. Sea salt provides crucial electrolytes. Imagine, athletic nutrition good enough to eat!

We researched nutritional needs for endurance, analyzed ingredient contributions, developed varieties, and sent them out to a panel of athletes for feedback. Not everything made the cut. Our coffee took nearly 30 tests to perfect! Once we were happy with our products we took one extra step…
