Fancy up your pancake, waffles and other treats with real whipping cream and a hint of Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup

1 C. Heavy Whipping Cream

2 T Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup

Add cream and syrup to a mixing bowl.

Whip with whisk attachment until stiff peaks form- when the whisk is pulled from the cream it should form a little mountain that doesn’t flop over.

Do not over whip! Whipping cream is a kind of magic. It is like watching metamorphosis in real time. For the longest time nothing happens, then suddenly you have whipped cream, and if you keep whipping it quickly becomes butter.
