Salted Maple Everything Bagel Cashews

Looking for the perfect trail snack? Look no further. Cashews are packed full of good stuff for energy, your brain, and your bones, add in maple syrup and BAM super delicious, super food snack! We sprinkled everything but the bagel seasoning on these for the perfect umami flavor. Delicious and portable for all your adventuring needs. Check out how we made them:

Ingredients:

  1. One Salted Maple Embark pack - We will use half or 1.5 oz.

  2. One pound of raw, whole cashews

  3. Everything but the Bagel seasoning. If you can’t find premade, it’s a mix of black and white sesame seeds, dried minced garlic and onion, sea salt flakes and poppy seeds. We will use half the container or 1 ounce.

Recipe:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  2. In a bowl, mix cashews, one ounce of everything but the bagel seasoning, and 1.5 oz of Embark Salted Maple, toss until everything is coated.

  3. Spread out coated cashews in a baking pan and put in the oven for 10 minutes.

  4. Every three minutes, flip cashews over so they evenly toast.

  5. They will be soft and spongy when you take them out of the oven. Let them sit for ten more minutes to cool and dry.

  6. Put in your favorite snack pouch and enjoy on the trail!
